I am originally from southern Wisconsin where I attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and earned a B.A. in Voice Performance and Music Education. I moved to the Twin Cities in 2001 to attend the University of Minnesota where I earned a Master's Degree in Voice Performance. I began working for Certes after hearing what a great environment it was through a fellow Certes employee. Prior to joining Certes, I worked at International Market Square as their front desk concierge. I have also worked as an elementary school music teacher and substitute teacher.

I am an active performer and continue to work at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church as a private voice instructor for the Mt. Olivet School of Music, Director of Chancel Choir (7th and 8th grade choir), and a soloist/section leader for the Senior Choir.
