I received my A.A. degree in Dietetics from the University of Minnesota (Crookston) and started my career as a Dietetic Technician at St. Alouis Hospital in Harvey, North Dakota. I then moved to Rochester and worked at Methodist Hospital, a part of the Mayo Clinic, and later moved to Minneapolis and worked for Prudential and Aetna in various administrative and HR roles. In my current role, I enjoy meeting all the new hires when we do orientations. I also find it very gratifying to help our current employees with benefits and other HR questions.

In the non-winter months, I enjoy gardening, going on camping trips, biking, and taking long walks with my Doberman Pinscher, Lexy. I also make time to take my '58 Chevy Brookwood to local car shows. I have met many wonderful people at these events. I am not very fond of Minnesota winters so I stay indoors mostly, trying to keep warm. My winter activities consist of stamping, scrapbooking, stained glass and yes, on occasion, the dreaded snow removal.

I believe we have to live in the moment and not worry about yesterday or tomorrow. I also believe that family and friends are very important in our lives and we should always make time for both. |
