I grew up in the Twin Cities and received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Metro State University. My background consists of a mix of not-for-profit organizations, public accounting, private industry, and consulting work, ranging from manufacturing, aviation and foundry, to distribution, publishing, fitness, and real-estate. I’ve received the greatest professional satisfaction from being involved in a variety of industries where I can "wear many hats."
After 18 years in accounting, I joined a national recruitment firm and led the launch of their permanent financial placement division for the Plymouth location. The experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced environment in an industry I love and know a lot about was very rewarding. I later joined my husband in our real estate business that we continue to run today – albeit I now play a smaller role.
I credit joining the Certes team, and getting to work with great people in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment as the best of both worlds.

My personal time is spent with my husband, Tom, and our three boys. I love to be outside, riding bikes, shooting hoops, making forts, and playing hard! I enjoy being involved with my church and the boys' schools. I live for spring and summer and gardening, listening to music, reading, being by the ocean, and spending time with good friends.
