I accidentally stumbled into an IT career in my early 20s. I am curious by nature and need to know all the details about the work I am performing. I was working at a company that had just undergone a new software implementation. After complaining daily to the Controller that I didn't have enough rights to do everything I wanted to do or experiment with, he finally caved in and gave me full rights to the server and software modules (boy, was he brave). In no time, I was out in the warehouse running a new network for the manufacturing teams. From that point forward, I knew where talents were and went on to achieve my A+ Certification for computer hardware and troubleshooting.

Currently, I am working towards earning a B.S. degree in IT Management and Network Administration from Crown College.

My husband, Troy, and I are avid pool players (yes that would be billiards), and belong to a few different leagues in the area. Our daughters, Kaylee and Kyra, keep us on our toes. Our door is always open to friends and family, especially if they are up for a good game of Texas Hold ‘Em! 

I have learned that it's the simple things in life that matter the most (family, friends, health, and laughter). You must also play as hard as you work but maybe not all in the same day!
