I have an A.A. degree from Minneapolis Community College and I have attended a number of classes at the University of St. Thomas, as well as the University of Glasgow, Scotland. My background has spanned both the accounting and marketing fields, working with a number of financial services firms including LarsonAllen, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Peregrine Capital Management. I also spent a few years as an office manager at a web site design firm.

Both of my parents emigrated from Germany and they met in Minneapolis. As such, I'm blessed to have family on two continents. During my childhood, I took frequent trips to visit family. I suspect this resulted in my current love for travel. In fact, I love traveling so much that I managed to get married in Scotland. I even talked my husband into wearing a kilt! Traveling has become a bit less frequent at this stage of my life, since I have two young girls at home. (Although with the kids, you can pretend to travel to exotic lands any time)! My other interests include tennis, biking, walking, and spending time with friends to share a good meal and a glass of wine.
