I grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, with my parents and two sisters and obtained my B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud State University. I started my career as an auditor with the Twin Cities CPA firm, HLB Tautges Redpath, LTD. This invaluable experience provided me with a solid accounting and finance foundation that I have continued to fall back on over the last 15 years of my career.
I have a spirit of adventure and a love for travel. After three years of auditing, I moved to San Diego. In my five years in California, I held two great positions: Finance Director of the San Diego Economic Development Corporation and Controller for the software development company, Acucorp. After watching sunsets over the Pacific, the adventure bug bit again and I headed east to see what sunrises were like over the Atlantic. I moved to Providence, Rhode Island, and took a position as a Senior Financial Analyst with the Fortune 500 company, Textron. After a number of years away from Minnesota (and becoming an auntie), I decided to move home looking for work/life balance. Contracting was the perfect fit for me and I enjoyed getting to work in various finance positions at some truly great companies.

My husband, Mike, and I spend as much time as we can with family and friends. I love entertaining and planning my next trip. I can never get enough travel! I was fortunate to have parents who stressed hard work, but also made time to show their three girls the beautiful National Parks of this country. I hope to visit them all again as an adult.
